2010-2012 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Vivid Racing VR650 Power Kit : VR-997.2TT-650

With the success of the VR825 power kit on our 997.1 Turbo, it was time to package up some tested, proven, and powerful products for the 997.2 Turbo.  Proving that our parts work well on the Porsche turbo, our 997.1TT did a blistering 206.2mph in 1 mile !  So starting from the basics, we began to build products 1 by 1 for the new PDK and 6speed 3.8L models.  This project car was completely documented HERE.  Our baseline dyno was done on a Mustang AWD Dyno using 91octane pump fuel.  We started with 422awhp.  Each part we built the car was put back to stock and tested against it.  Our final test came as an accumulation of the parts we had built making this the ULTIMATE 997.2TT on stock turbos.

Our method of performance is simple.  Good tuning, improve airflow, reduce restriction.  We have chosen these parts to accomplish this:

• Softronic ECU Tuning - The only company that can flash your 997.2TT via the OBDII port.  T HERE is no removal of the ECU and we supply you with your TRUE ORIGINAL file so you can flash back at anytime not worrying about warranty issues.  The ECU flash adjusts the boost, fuel, and timing.  This package would get the Softronic Stage 3 file which is very strong.  Torque is increased and the mid to top end RPM range just pulls hard for incredible 60-130 runs and top speed.  The Softronic ECU flash also includes the use absolutely FREE of the Durametric tool.  This is required to clear fault codes.  You can read more on the flashing process HERE .
• The next mod is one of the most important.  An Exhaust system helps relieve any back pressure to the turbochargers.  Back pressure is like a giant cork and makes it difficult for the power to be released.  Our Agency Power exhaust system uses high flow 200 cell cats and fits with the stock tips.  We offer it in either a stainless steel polished finished or ceramic coated in black.  What is popular about the Agency Power exhaust is the tone.  It is very comfortable for daily driving with nearly no drone.  However when you step on the throttle, the car really opens up.
• Next we have a standard efficiency product, DV's.  Diverter Valves help keep the pressure consistant while under boost.  The factory ones are made from a rubber diaphram and spring w HERE the Agency Power aftermarket ones are a CNC machined body with a piston and stiffer spring.  This helps keep the boost constant w HERE the OEM ones can fall off at top rpm's. 
• Going back to performance, a turbocharged car needs to get as much air in as it does out.  We have developed a high flow Y-Pipe which replaces the factory unit.  This Y shape features a larger diameter from the intercoolers to the throttle body of 3inch.  It does neck down at the intercooler fittings to work with OE style systems such as our Agency Power unit.  As tested, the YPipe helped deliver power across the mid to top end power curve.  In addition to the YPipe, we also add our Agency Power intercoolers, these intercoolers have a 40% more capacity then the stock ones and have been pressure tested to 30psi.  They have been proven up to 825HP on our vehicles in the past.  Not that it is required, but we do supply new silicone 4 piece boost hoses to replace the ugly factory rubber ones.
• The final mod is our new carbon fiber cold air intake system.  This intake features a complete carbon fiber replacement airbox.  It houses 2 K&N cone air filters with hardware to install in replacement of the original airbox kit.  The intake is designed to improve air flow to the turbos and since the filters are housed in a carbon box, when the decklid closes, it is a TRUE cold air intake.
